When do UEFA Champions League 2022/23 season starts ?

Europe's premier cup competition, started back in 1955 as "European Cup" where only winners of leagues from Europe could participate. However UEFA saw money and they ended up rebranding it back in 1992 as UEFA Champions League. Format moved away from only knockout cup to group stage and then knockouts.
Even the 4th place team from top european leagues can take part and that is why you Liverpool winning champions league in 2005 without having won their league in 20 years. However as crazy as it seems both format have their draw backs. Before the Champions League in only knockout format there were handful of decent teams in the tournament and a good team of an era was winning the competition back to back many times. Like Real madrid did, Ajax, Milan and even Nottingham Forest.
